This pattern for 1830-1840's stays, by Past Patterns, contains two types of corded stays. Both use two wooden ash boards for the front busk, instead of the button & loop metal busk used in later period corsets.  View A is an embroidered wedding stay and requires 1 yd of cotton drill and 1 yd of cotton broadcloth lining.  View B is a working stay.  It requires 1 1/8 yds of 52" medium wieght linen and cotton cording to create stiffness and support.  This pattern is multi sized, 10-20. All pattern sales are final. No returns, refunds or exchanges.
